چکیده
The increased resistance of campylobacters to antibiotics required the identification and isolation novel antimicrobials able inhibit its virulence, cause less or no display host toxicity. Acquiring all this knowledge was only possible through a better understanding their antibacterial potency biological mechanisms involved attenuating bacterial virulence factors. This review describes most recent developments in area by looking at new antimicrobial interventions aiming combat transmission colonisation Campylobacter spp. commonalities with other pathogenic bacteria. In we are also into developments, both vitro vivo , focusing on which natural express anti-pathogenic effect. Following extensive literature search conclude that further studies essential elucidate efficiency plant, animal, bacteria marine-derived as well role promising alternatives antibiotics. • Impact genes expression. reduces attachment epithelial cells. pathogen colonisation. •Improves food safety increases consumer confidence.

Heat Resistance in Liquids of Enterococcus spp., Listeria spp., Escherichia coli, Yersinia enterocolitica, Salmonella spp. and Campylobacter spp
The aim of the work was to collect, evaluate, summarize and compare heat resistance data reported for Campylobacter, Enterococcus, Escherichia, Listeria, Salmonella and Yersinia spp. The work was limited to resistance in liquids with pH values 6-8. Results obtained under similar experimental conditions were sought. Thermal destruction lines for the various bacterial groups studied were construc...

Faecal samples were collected, as part of the National Health Surveillance Program for Cervids (HOP) in Norway, from wild red deer, roe deer, moose and reindeer during ordinary hunting seasons from 2001 to 2003. Samples from a total of 618 animals were examined for verocytotoxic E. coli (VTEC); 611 animals for Salmonella and 324 animals for Campylobacter. A total of 50 samples were cultivated f...

The specific aim of this study was to assess the faecal shedding of zoonotic enteropathogens by semi-domesticated reindeer (Rangifer tarandus tarandus) to deduce the potential risk to human health through modern reindeer herding. In total, 2,243 faecal samples of reindeer from northern regions of Finland and Norway were examined for potentially enteropathogenic bacteria (Campylobacter species, ...
